Agen, situated halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse, a very old town, which was reunited with France in 1472, after the death of Louis the 11th. It lies on the river Garonne 135 km southeast of Bordeaux. This sweet city is world famous distributor of Prunes, Medieval Alleys and Waterways. The people living there are fun loving, friendly and rugby fans. There are so many places to visit, like the medieval churches, the cathedral, the old private hotels, the archaeological museum and the art museum. There are a number of medieval buildings in the old center of town.

There are various things to do, you can visit there:

Agen Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Caprasius, is one of the few large churches in France.
Golf d’Albret is an 18-hole golf course, which is situated in Barbaste.
Musee municipal des Beaux-Arts is a kind of museum that is a place for lovers of art and paintings.
The canals tranept and pont de Napoleon where you can enjoy boating and other water games.
You can enjoy adventurous park with various thrilling rides at Walibi.
Every September, the Prune festival organizes rock concerts, circuses and prune tasting.

You can enjoy various gardens, waterfalls, a farm, duck lake, obstacle course and mini-golf in Parc en Ciel, Agen.
You can enjoy a rocking nightlife in this town. There are many discos, cafes, bars and pubs where you can enjoy your nighttime.

You can easily access this beautiful places by car, by bus, by train and by flight but by train it is around an hour from Toulouse, and around an hour from Bordeaux. Fast trains to Paris take four hours and ten minutes. Agens Eurostar the high-speed train has made it possible to reach the city easily. You can take a train from St Pancras International Station to Paris and then change your train from Paris to Agen.
